Armenian Association of Evidence-Based Medicine Specialists

The Armenian Association of Evidence-Based Medicine Specialists was founded in 2013. The purpose of the association is to introduce the foundations of evidence-based medicine and its further development in Armenia, participate in legislative projects, develop clinical guidelines and protocols, methods of organizing and financing healthcare, consult on the development of clinical trials and their implementation, develop plans for graduate and postgraduate education. In 2015, the association organized an international conference "Evidence-Based Medicine: from Theory to Practice".

In 2018, a number of association members joined the groups for the development of clinical guidelines on the methodological support of AGREE and ADAPTE. The association annually holds quodilibets and schools for young scientists, as well as courses on evidence-based medicine, economic analysis, clinical research, and healthcare organization.
