Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin

The University is a modern, dynamically developing scientific and educational complex, including all levels of professional education, a system of additional education, highly professional staff, developed scientific and innovative infrastructure based on interaction with industry and academic science, with the business community, government bodies and local governments in the interests of the development of the state and society.

The University implements 24 large groups of areas and specialties (AGAS) at all levels of higher education: bachelor's degree, master's degree, specialist degree, postgraduate study and residency. There are 7 faculties, 92 departments; out of 1,263 people. the teaching staff, 53.4% ​​have candidate degrees and 15% have doctorates. The total number of students studying in all forms of education is 9,110 people.

Among the professors and staff are laureates of state awards of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic, laureates of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic, honored workers of education, culture, science and technology of the Kyrgyz Republic, excellent workers of education of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of the title "Honorary Professor of KRSU", awarded the KRSU medal "For Services to the University".

Every year, the university staff and students are sent for internships and training to countries of the near and far abroad (England, Germany, Italy, Poland, the USA, etc.). Students from Belarus, Israel, India, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, South Korea and other countries study at KRSU. Teachers from Germany, China, Poland, France, Switzerland, Japan and others are invited to give lectures at the university.

For their enormous contribution to strengthening peace and friendly relations between nations, for the development of science, education and spirituality, by decision of the Academic Council, 45 famous scientists, political and public figures from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, South Korea and Japan became Honorary Doctors of KRSU.

In 2017, in the international ranking of universities (according to Webometrics Ranking of World Universities), KRSU took first place among universities in Kyrgyzstan.
