Republican Center for Orphan Diseases

The Republican public association "Association of Medical Geneticists" is one of the oldest professional associations of doctors in Kazakhstan. In 2021, the association received the status of Republican and at that time already had 7 branches in different regions of Kazakhstan.

The Association sets itself very important problems, such as legislative regulation and development of the genetic service, as well as related systems for the diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases and, of course, issues of payment and therapy within the framework of compulsory medical insurance.
