  • improvement of monitoring and evaluation of diseases, including orphan diseases

International cooperation and the CIS

Standardization of health data is key to ensuring:

  • effective exchange of information between countries and the development of international cooperation
  • comparability of data needed to monitor global trends and assess the impact of health programs and develop new strategies for the treatment of rare diseases

What is included in the Glossary?

  • key terms related to the processes of data collection, information management and statistical methods used in public health
  • standardized definitions and recommendations for specialists, including analysts, epidemiologists and other stakeholders.

"Data unification is the basis for improving the quality of health care systems. Only through standardization can we ensure transparency, accuracy and timeliness of data exchange between countries, which contributes to the global development of health care and improves patients' access to treatment. This is especially important for the CIS countries, where effective data integration can facilitate faster implementation of advanced solutions and optimization of patient registration and treatment processes," said Nuria Musina, Director of International Cooperation at NAERES
