A cooperation agreement was signed between the National Medical Chamber of Russia and the Chinese Medical Association.

On September 19, 2025, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) was held in Beijing.

Representatives of the world's leading medical organizations took part in the anniversary meeting:

• Academician Alexander Grigorievich Rumyantsev, First Vice President of the National Medical Chamber of Russia, President of the N.N. Dmitry Rogachev, Director of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation,

• Ashok Zachariah Philip, President of the World Medical Association,

• Zhao Yupei, President of the Chinese Medical Association,

• Leaders and representatives of national medical associations of the United States, Germany, France, Pakistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

As part of the event, a cooperation agreement in healthcare was signed between the National Medical Chamber of Russia

About the CMA

The Chinese Medical Association is the main professional union of doctors in China. The organization unites more than 500,000 members and more than 80 professional societies.

The CMA plays a key role in:

• the development of medicine and medical education,

• the training and professional development of physicians,

• organizing national conferences,

• establishing treatment standards in the country,

• the development of scientific research and international cooperation.

During the event, Academician Alexander Grigorievich Rumyantsev congratulated his colleagues on their anniversary and noted the importance of strengthening international cooperation in healthcare between Russia and China.

The signed agreement opens new prospects for joint work in medical education, science, and the exchange of experience, and will also be an important step in strengthening international dialogue in healthcare.
