Naeretz President, President of the CIS Orphan Consortium, Academician Alexander Rumyantsev and Naeretz Executive Director of the CIS Orphan Consortium, Director of International Cooperation Nuriya Musina visited the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA, Daxing Technology Park), one of China's largest life sciences clusters.


The park is home to leading companies:

  • Tri Prime Gene — developing innovative solutions in the field of genetic engineering and antiviral technologies,

  • Imunopharm — a leader in the development CAR-T therapy for the treatment of hematological and solid tumors, as well as autoimmune diseases,

  • Baylx Biology — mesenchymal stem cells,

  • Echo Biotech — exosomes,

  • RiboBio — RNA drugs,

  • Boyalife — stem cells and regenerative medicine, and other companies shaping the innovative landscape of Chinese biomedicine.


The visit coincided with Science Day, which was attended not only by specialists but also by schoolchildren. Lectures and interactive activities were organized for the children.

Academician Alexander Rumyantsev in his welcoming remarks noted the diverse functions of viruses—from their role in the emergence of diseases to their participation in evolutionary processes, emphasizing the importance of a scientific approach to their study.
